I called as I was instructed to have new motor inspected each year for lubrication and any issues with the door. When I called for the check up, I was told that there would be a $49 call out fee and if anything was needed , they would check with me and let me know the charges (even though you knew that lubrication was needed every year). I assumed that the service fee would include lubrication. When the gentleman arrived I did not immediately go out ( I had just had knee surgery) and when they were finished, he called me out and said that the total charge would be $250 or so. I was shocked and was then told that the $49 was just for them driving in. The lubrication of each door would be $75 per door! That seems like a lot to charge for simple lubrication. I have recommended Precision to many friends and still will as I think you are a good company. However, I feel that you should tell people up front that the charge is $49 for just arriving and that each door would be $75 for lubrication, plus any repairs needed. Thie way it was presented to me I feel is false advertising. My son can lubricate a garage door. The repair guys were excellent and competant

I think there business practices need to be looked at. The two guys were courteous and just following orders. So it all started with contacting the company to come out and replace the spring on my garage door. After they reviewed the problem they showed me four options on the iPad beginning the lowest at $800 and the others ranging up to $3,400. Unfortunately they had me in a bad place, they could do it right then or I could send them off with no way to open my garage door. So I selected the $800 option...$800 to replace the garage door spring. I am still stunned that they had the gall to even propose those amounts. Next time I will find someone else.

I chose PGDS as I have used you 4 years ago on a job in Gulf Breeze. Had good experience then with the Tech and we had a great experience with Nathan on our job @ 406 Ronji Way. Nathan did an outstanding job doing the necessary repairs to the garage door and also doing the R&R to our new door opener. Nathan is a very positive credit to PGDS. 100% satisfied…I had a 16’ x 7’ garage door and opener installed. The technicians were very professional and friendly. From day one till the install everyone I dealt with at Precision Door was very courteous and helpful. They were on time and met the original install date. Looks great!

A neighbor recommended this business. I filled out my request for service online and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Precision Door was quick to respond with texts and phone calls. My appointment was double booked with another customer. I was given priority since my car was locked in my garage due to a broken overhead spring, and I had a doctor's appointment that I needed to make. Cody came at 8 am, got my car out, and asked if he could service the other booked appointment next and come back later the same day. I agreed. While waiting, I read helpful bios and reviews on line. Reading the reviews helped me realize that they offer a military discount (which I was given). It also helped me realize that they charge a convenience fee for using a credit or debit card. I wrote a check and was still charged the convenience fee. I realized this when I read over the itemized invoice. I asked my wife to double check my figures. She agreed and called Precision Door the next day. After she spoke to a person in the Pensacola office about the overcharge, we are expecting that fee to be reimbursed.

This was a great experience from the easy online appointment scheduler to the thorough communication before arrival. Tech Alex was very knowledgable, friendly, and communicative.
