The service call was an additional charge but should have been included since work was done.All other trades do this. The overall total was 25% more than l researched. The opener and rail should be priced together. The surge protector was not quoted separate and for lack of easier words, a complete “rip off”. I had referred two family members in the last year, but no more. Hunter did a good job but left cut wires and trash.

Last night I opened my garage door and when I tried to close it I got an error message saying my opener had a bad board. The opener was about 5 years old so decide to replace the opened instead of trying to repair it. I noticed that my door seemed awful heavy like there was a problem with the springs. I had just upgraded my door hardware and springs through Precision Doors a few months ago so I decided to ask for a tech to come out and make sure there were no issues with the door before I installed a new opener. They sent Hunter out and he was on it and had it figured out. In no time. Later on, when I was setting up my new opener something happened and the drum on the right side slipped on the shaft causing my door to be partially open on the left while all the way to the floor on the right. It was late in the day but I called saying I would really like him to come back and straighten it out. He came back within about an hour and found and fixed the problem much quicker than I thought possible. Thanks to Hunter and Precision Door, everything is back to normal now with my door and the opener. I really appreciate how they kept me informed and thst a Hunter went the extra distance to fix my issue so late in the day. I will not have any other company work on my door. Thanks for a great job!

We have a special garage door and Hunter appropriately called the manufacturer when necessary to make certain that our various requests could be accommodated. He also confirmed everything through Precision. He was an excellent representative for Precision.

From the start, everything went smoothly, while looking online for a garage door opener repair company, I saw the Precision site, went to it and saw they prefer to repair if possible as to just try and sell you a new one.. That was what caught my attention. I was able to make an appointment online to have someone come check my garage door opener.. Hunter called when he was on his way, he checked out the opener, determined what was wrong, called and found the part I needed, and as it was almost time for the parts store to close he said he could set up another day to come back and fix it.. I was able to have my garage door opener working a day later.. Hunter did a great job, and I am pleased with Precision Door service and their employees..
