Top notch. We had a garage door that had come off the rollers and couldn’t be raised or lowered. It was an old door and we knew we’d likely need a new one. Austin evaluated the situation and gave us our options. The door was in a dangerous position and could’ve fallen on someone. We decided to purchase a new door and Austin could’ve walked away and said it was too dangerous for him to attempt to move, but he managed to get it into a position where it was safer. Garage door cables came off the spring rod spools. Called a local garage door place but they couldn't come for two days. Saw Precision Door online and gave them a call. They responded within an hour and door. with some upgrades, was done in about an hour. Corey the technician was super friendly and offered some good advice.

I noticed my spring was broke and one side of the door wouldn't go up no matter how hard I tried to lift even with help from others. I initially intended to try it myself after watching some videos on replacing the spring. However, I felt it was unsafe and contacted several repair companies from Angie's List Living in Panama City after the storm meant a lot of local companies had long wait lists, but I was surprised when Precision not only didn't have a wait list, they could send out a tech within 2 days. Austin was awesome. He not only recognized the broken spring but also that the pulley on one side had failed since the bearing was frozen. He wrote up a fair estimate and was able to repair my door in about an hour. I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Even though the cost was more than what I anticipated, it was offset by the fact that the pulley bearing was broken as well as the need for new rollers which were about to fail. All in all a good experience leaving me with peace of mind.

I called Precision because of the reviews I read online. Then I really appreciated the text and picture of the employee that was headed my way to do the work. However, that was not who showed up at my front door! This concerned me. I would suggest that you verify who is doing the service prior to sending the picture. William was the one who actually came, and he was great, polite, and informative throughout his work here.

Excellent doors...work smooth and quiet and their service reflects the quality of the doors. When I needed service due to a 'opener battery problem', they were quick to respond and did the replacement with a great attitude. Other businesses would do well to copy this companies quality in equipment and service.
